Things are better. Apparently it doesn't matter that I am a an employee of the company, a temp is a temp is a temp. Why I wan't invited. Which still sucks, but not quite as much. And Dina was totally avoiding the question last night in any case.
I mentioned that I get the brunt of Dina's frustration, and Melanie excused her a bit, but still said it shouldn't be happening.
Hopefully the Dina situation will be better. Or maybe worse. Who knows!
Either way I am so, so glad I spoke with Melanie, if only to ease my "impending firing" fears.
