Sunday night

I have decided that from this point forth I shall not refer to Not!Lawyer as 'Not!Lawyer'. It sounds kind of disparaging, like he never quite made it or something and I don't want the connotation of him to be in any way negative. So from now on he shall be referred to as D.

Not a grade, but the first letter of his name. Clever, no?


I think that maybe I really like this guy.


Anyway, last night D met my sister and brother-in-law.

They liked him. And he them. YAY! And my mom said they liked *me* with him which is faboo. Not that they don't like me, mind. I have said before, that one of my favorite things about my sister and BiL is that my sister is absolutely herself when she is with him. Meaning she doesn't affect any sort of personality change to fit to him. Does that make sense? Basically he loves her for exactly who she is and that is the way it should be for ever and ever amen.

Or something.

So I like that I don't seem to change around this guy.

I also like that he likes me. He has excellent taste.

I was talking to my mom earlier (you know, the subtle like a brick one) and she mentioned that now Jenny and David and Jack have all met D . . .

But no pressure!

Uh huh.

In other news, I continue to feel better but sound ghastly. I wanted to go to lil_fatty's birthday party last night but after seeing my sis I was tired so D and I just came back here. We were asleep by, like, 11:30. Who's cooler than me?

Okay, off to stir the rice pudding. I had the sudden desire for it and so I am making it from scratch. As it turns out it's quite easy. Yay!

It was a nice, mellow night, indeed. And the rice pudding I think might be delicious, though it's a bit hot just yet.

I think maybe they do. Though they usually like people I like. Unless, of course, they don't. But I talked to Jenny and she said she couldn't find anything wrong about him and that was nice to hear. Yay!

Thank you. I mean, I know it's new and there's that whole 'new relationship' phase but I am enjoying this part of it quite a lot and for that I am with joy.
